My Comeback: After a very exciting afternoon involving a school cafeteria and stairs, I found myself at the hospital waiting for an xray. I missed a stair and landed funny (hilarious) on my ankle. This was exactly what I did when I broke my other ankle many years ago. I thought I broke it. It’s just a sprain with an expected six week recovery. Fast forward, through five days of crutches, four days of hobbling around without crutches to now. Ankle is still very poofy, and bruised, and my foot doesn’t quit fit into shoes yet, but I can walk without limping. I’m back!
Cottle Lake
Nice trails through the forest and around the lake. I think there are lots of connector trails to other parts of Linley Valley. I stayed on the main trail, no roots. This is a very pretty spot.
