We took it off trail today and visited The Raptors, birds of prey centre in Duncan. We saw owls, falcons, hawks, turkey vulture, raven and a stork (Maxi pointing at it below). This was really interesting, particularly the flight demo. I was too into it, I forgot to take photos.
Owls can’t move their eyes like humans, they are too big. That is why their head’s move so much. They can rotate their heads 270 degrees. An owl’s neck has 14 vertebrae, which is twice as many as humans.
