Skutz Falls, Cowichan River Provincial Park

Taking advantage of nap time, LJ and I went on a beautiful afternoon hike. This is a loop trail along Cowichan River from Skultz Falls to 66 Mile Trestle. The trail takes hikers through the forest to water’s edge. The views are incredible and there are many side trails leading to look outs and perfect swimming rocks. Hikers can find their own private beach for a picnic and a swim break along this trail. I love this park.

Where are the falls, you ask? Yeah, we did too.

The colour of the river!
