Bowen Park, Nanaimo

Max and I checked out Bowen Park. We saw ducks, totem poles, a pond, a river and a waterfall. Maxi loved sitting and watching the waterfall. He said it was “loud” and there was “soap” in the water (white water).

At the beginning of the walk we came across a tree stump. Max asked me what it was and I explained, “it used to be a tree and someone cut it down and now it’s a tree stump.” On the way back to the car Max ran over to the tree stump. He said “tree cut down,” while making the scissors motion with his fingers.

While at the park, Maxi pretended he was a duck and a frog (at different times).
